Early Years Closure

Firstly, we would like to state that there are no confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in school.

External advice from the government and Public Health England is that if any child or adult in the household shows symptoms of COVID-19 then the whole household needs to self-isolate for 14 days.

We have members of staff who are self-isolating due to family members showing symptoms. Therefore we have followed government guidance and requested they stay at home for 14 days. This has had an impact on staffing in school which has resulted in us carrying out a risk assessment on the viability of remaining open.

We have taken the decision to close Early Years (Nursery and Reception classes) until Tuesday 24th March.

This means children will not be able to attend Rainbow, Amethyst or Violet classes during this time. We aim to reopen on Wednesday 25th March.
