We are proud of our Philosophy Curriculum at Stanley Road.

Philosophy is experienced in classrooms weekly and children’s thoughts and theories are recorded on class displays.

This gives children curriculum time to think, ask questions, wonder, debate and consider deep ideas and developed the idea into a bespoke curriculum with teaching materials and assessment criteria.

The purpose is to develop verbal fluency, depth of thought, analytic skills, mutual respect and independence, all features of our real opportunities development.
